Hurricane is edgier and rawer than anything Steve Forde has ever done before and has taken him in a new direction creatively. He nurtured this collection of 10 songs through writing styling and recording. Steve wrote 9 of the songs with Matt Scullion and Josh Barker. The album is already enjoying sales success. Hurricane is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Guns & Guitars which topped the ARIA Australian Albums Country Sales charts when released in 2008. Forde, a 2010 APRA Awards nominee, is one of Australia's best known Country artists, specialising in guitar driven rockier tunes, which come from his days as a competitive rodeo rider.
